Israel ready to extend ceasefire if Hamas releases 50 more hostages

Tel Aviv: Israeli government spokesman Alon Levy has said that Hamas is ready to extend the ceasefire agreement if it releases more prisoners.

Speaking at a press conference in Tel Aviv, Israeli government spokesman Alon Levy said that the option of extending the ceasefire is open, with Hamas agreeing to release 50 more hostages.

Alvin Levy said that 184 prisoners are still held by Hamas, and will not leave China until the last hostage is released.

It should be noted that Hamas released 13 Israelis and 4 foreigners on the third day of the cease-fire yesterday. The foreigners included one Russian and 3 Thai citizens. In response, Israel also released 39 Palestinian prisoners.

Under the agreement, 120 aid trucks including 4 trucks of fuel and gas have also entered Gaza.

In this regard, American President Biden says that the pause in the fighting for the exchange of prisoners is expected to continue, while the French Foreign Minister has also supported the extension of the ceasefire.

US President Joe Biden has said that the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas can last as long as the hostages are released.

In addition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he has told the American president that after the temporary cease-fire ends, Israel will resume operations in Gaza with full force. Will welcome.
