Hajj 2024: Announces cheaper pilgrimage under government scheme

Religious affairs minister Aneeq Ahmed unveiled Pakistan’s Hajj Policy 2024 on Thursday, announcing that the cost of the Hajj package under the government’s scheme has been reduced by Rs100,000 ($347.92) this year.  Hajj is an annual, Islamic pilgrimage that each Muslim adult is required to perform at least once in their lives if they are physically and financially able to do so.
